- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am 17 years old. My mother scheduled an appointment and took off work to go there. When we arrived, the office manager refused to see me because I was "17" years old. She said that the doctors in the office don't see patients if they are "17" years old. I used to see Dr. Mihm three years ago. The office manager told me that I was considered a "new" patient. There was no one else in the waiting room and they told me to find a new doctor. Since, no doctors could see me today, I came home sick. The staff was rude and inconsiderate. I have Staywell Kids and they told my mother that Dr. Mihm's office is supposed to take care of me until I am "18" years old. I don't understand why I was turned away. My mother filed a grievance with Florida Healthy Kids.January 23, 2017by Jake
