  I am so glad that I got the nerve up to have Lasik correction surgery. Dr. Petelin and staff are great and could not be happier with my results. There is only one issue and that is be prepared to spend more time for you visit than expected it is very busy office so they seem to run a little behind from reading the other reviews I was prepared and that made it not a big deal to me. I figured hey if they are quick bonus. They came highly recommended to me from my optometrist of 8 years who is also fantastic. She said Dr. Petelin I'd the best in AZ for astigmatism and I am thrilled with my results. She was right he's confident and not arrogant and will take time to answer any concerns you have.

  Just called to find out what an eye exam with contact lens fitting would cost without vision insurance, and I was told about $190 for the exam (fine) and anywhere from $40-$600 for a contact lens fitting depending on what type of fitting I would require -to be determined by the "Dr". I asked the woman if the "Dr" would be able to let me know (after examining my eyes for $190) what it should cost me be before doing the actual fitting, and she said NO! Are you kidding me? So... I could walk in this place and my bill could wind up being anywhere from $190-$790! And without any prior notice? I'm 32 years old and have been wearing the same contact lenses since I was 15. I have NEVER heard of such a policy. I will be going elsewhere.
